Who We Are

Based in Northwest Ohio, Tuttle Construction is an award-winning Commercial Construction company complete with the efficiency of a large business, while still maintaining the home-town family feel for our clients.  Herbert U. Tuttle founded Tuttle Construction in 1928 on family values, and a strong, honest work ethic.  Even today, Tuttle Construction, Inc. has a reputation as a trusted business partner and for being innovative in its approach to building.

In 1928, Tuttle Construction offered General Contracting.  Today we not only offer General Contracting, but also specialty Self-Perform services including:

Concrete

Structural Steel

General Trades

Masonry

Fireproofing

Metal Buildings

The Tuttle Services organization brings proven experience delivering in budget and on schedule solutions our clients.

Here are a couple examples of crazy experiences that we did not let affect our clients:

St. Rita’s Graduate Medical Education Facility was built on schedule in the middle of a pandemic!

Our Office Building Exploded!

In 2008, the Tuttle Office Building Exploded!

The Tuttle Construction company as a whole owes a heartfelt “Thank You” to our local first responders.  On a cold January day back in 2008, our office building exploded due to a natural gas leak.

Thanks to the first responder team that was there that day, all of our associates were evacuated before the explosion and none of them were injured.

Our office building, however, was not as fortunate as our employees; we needed to re-build our building that year and move all of our employees to a different location during construction.  The project was completed before the end of the year and we are happy to report that none of our clients at the time were affected due to our office re-locating temporarily.
